Director Chibuzo Okonkwo
Okonkwo’s face bears a pale scar, and the burns on his arms tell a longer story. He spent eighteen years running the Combine’s largest foundry, close enough to the work to know how quickly a bad decision could travel from an office to a furnace floor.
An accident early in his tenure cost workers their lives. Okonkwo changed the inspection schedule despite objections from managers who feared a slowdown, and he stayed to answer the families himself. Production recovered; the families’ questions stayed with him.
Tonnage Sovereign reflects the lessons of that foundry: broad welded structures, dependable routines, and a crew expected to report trouble before it becomes a disaster. Okonkwo can seem stern, particularly when someone treats a casualty as a minor entry in a report. He respects competence wherever he finds it and has little patience for leaders who demand sacrifices they have never had to witness.
